THE GHOST ON THE PLASTIC

The second translucent photo on a card is laser engraving inside the plastic. It has depth: the image lives within the material, not on top.

⚠️ A "ghost" drawn as a simple transparency layer looks like a sticker. Flat, no volume, no light physics inside the plastic.

Laser engraving behaves its own way on curved edges, catches glare at an angle differently. That's optics, not an opacity slider.

The check looks at the ghost first – it's the hardest element to copy. A failure here drags the whole file down.
